Service Description

Individual therapy can be a safe place to explore life’s challenges and step into your healing journey of self-compassion, acceptance and empowerment. Through individual therapy, one will be able to develop new ways of thinking and learn new ways of coping with past traumatic experiences and daily stressors. A variety of modalities are utilized to facilitate change, healing, and growth, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. In some cases, when appropriate, I utilize mindfulness tools and other short-term therapeutic modalities such as Problem Solving Therapy and/or Solutions Focused Therapy to further promote change and healing.
