Meet Janelle

I value the therapeutic relationship between my clients and pride myself on building and creating a safe space. My goal is to empower and educate you about treatment options and utilize a collaborative and client-center approach to ensure your unique needs are met. I stand by the core values and ethics of therapy and ensure that I provide the best care possible and support clients on their journey toward recovery, healing, and growth.
Before becoming a Psychotherapist, I was a professional dancer and corporate employee in the entertainment industry, which is why I am passionate about connecting and working with individuals in the arts and entertainment industry. I specialize in working with those with anxiety, depression, trauma, creative & career blocks, perfectionism & imposter syndrome, relationship challenges, school and/or work-related issues, and self-esteem issues.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and my Master’s in Social Work from The University of Southern California. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California and my training and work experience consists of serving school-aged children and adults who experienced moderate and persistent mental illness within the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Department of Mental Health Community Mental Health Outpatient Clinics. I utilize a culturally sensitive, client-centered, and strengths-based approach and believe self-awareness is the first step toward change. I would be honored to support and help you heal and develop a healthier sense of self. I look forward to hearing from you!
